Vintage Indonesian Ikat textile, Savu Island, hand woven cotton, warp face plain weave which makes it reversible, 40 warp threads per linear inch, Savunese men's ceremonial wearing blanket, called a Hig'i Wo Pidu, the design is divided into 7 zones, the warp ends are twisted into fringe some are frayed, minor staining soiling, one small hole, I have given this textile a good soaking wet wash by hand, the approximate size is 45 inches wide, 85 inches long, #5077
