Vintage Klaxon or Delco Horn from the 1920s

Description

This is a used 1920s vintage 6-volt Klaxon or possibly Delco Horn with the #11498 stamped on the tag.  Measures about 12-1/2" long and has what looks to be a universal style mounting bracket.  I couldn't get a sound out of it when I gave it 6-volts.  Has no dents and looks like the original paint and has only a bit of surface rust.  What was visible on the tag was 11498 stamped in, 6 volt and Anderson Indiana which leads me to believe it is a Klaxon or possibly Delco and looks similar to the 8-C model but the rear cover is about 4-1/2" long.  I haven't seen a Klaxon label that is oval like mine has and it reminds me of the Delco tag on generators and starters.  Open to info from people more familiar with vintage horns than me.
