Vintage Pie Bird Blackbird Vent Funnel Pie Baker, Norpro, Comes in original box. Bird is black with yellow beak, and in great condition. No chips or repairs. This 1960s traditional black pie bird is an excellent piece for the collector or to simply display in your kitchen. It would also make a lovely gift for a baker!  Pie birds were used to vent the steam from your pie when baking, preventing the filling from bubbling over. It measures approx. 4" tall x 2" wide at the base.
