As artists, the Walt Disney Studio Animators would produce
personal
Christmas Cards each year and send them out to other artists, friends and family. Some were hand done, some printed and touched up by hand and others
lithographically
printed in volume. Extreme variations in sizes also existed. This one opened measures: 9 1/2" x 7 1/2". Iwao Takamoto was a Japanese-American animator, television producer and film director for Walt Disney working on such films as Cinderella, Peter Pan and 101 Dalmations. He also worked at Hanna-Barbera where he became character designer for the original Scooby-Doo Series. Iwao passed away in 2007.
