*SALE* Antique Batik Javanese Table Cloth; 82" x 40"; c.1900, museum quality

Up for sale is a spectacular antique batik Javanese tablecloth c. 1900. 82" x 40".  it beautifully depicts the Indonesian cultural shadow-puppet world in all their intricacies. the condition is good except for a couple of tears around the edge  the cloth is thin and may be linen; i would definitely frame this.  i acquired this in 1987 in Greensboro, nc from a collector who's uncle lived in java and regularly shipped her pieces through the years.  a true masterpiece of batik; this textile belongs in a museum.  *variations in color on the photos are from my phone's flash*
